Hey can you tell me how long after your registration was your first inspection as i have been told it is around 6 mnths after?

Mine was a couple of days under a year! I was nervous for that whole year though!

Mine was 4 1/2 months, but it can be a few days / weeks...so always best to trat every working day as an ofsted day!:)

In my area they say they like to do it within 4 months of registration, but as it was when the EYFS was coming out, all the inspectors where being trained on it, so I was registered in July 07, I think I had my inspection the following August so 13 months for me!!

presume they are always around the corner and just carry on as normal.....I was so nervous and felt Id really fluffed a few bits up...but it was fab, I actually enjoyed the inspection and told my inspector so (think she was a bit taken aback);)

Mine was 6 months, and for 6 months i never answered my phone until after 5.30pm and avoided all unknown numbers that rang my mobile but they got me in the end. Really nice to pick up the phone now without having a heart attack though.

I registered in January 09 and they contacted me in March. They just rang me again to ask if i was minding....had to say no as i don't have anyone yet.
The person who asked about September minding for her baby, has not replied, so not sure if a time waster or just on holidays :mad:
