I got the call first thing monday morning - she said she would come either Tuesday or Thursday - originally I'd hoped that she would come Thursday. When I woke up yesterday - I thought I hope its today and when I got home from school she was waiting for me!
She was here about 2.5 hours, during that time I delivered my little one to nursery (a relief as he really played up - guessing they are used to that) she looked through my paperwork.
She watched me play with 18month old the only one I had yesterday - I felt very self-conscience when she went down for her sleep the questions started!
Everything ok I wish I had completed my on-line sef (I think requesting a security token last week triggered it) my inspection would have been shorter.
She was very good - no complaints another new-to-me inspector so more inconsistencies - she wants a loo lock moved up never been an issue in any of my other inspections I am happy with the height as a little one is able to reach and wouldn't be going to the loo alone anyway - but hey ho!
The galling thing is the obs - I was pleased with my obs format, parents are pleased to - its signed in and out and verbally discussed - she wanted written coments from parents this is out of my control but I was marked down on it - If ofstead want this then I feel they should make it clear from the outset rather than the wooly requirement now - it can't be wrong if they don't really tell us what right is :(
But got outstanding in some areas but overall good - she was really helpful (not at all condescending) in what I could do to be outstanding next time.
Over with now!
