Hi all

Yesterday my 17 month old mindee got her shoes and was putting them on her feet and knew that something had to be done with a buckle and suceeded in putting them on (albeit the wrong foot!) but still very clever non the least!

She also had a jigsaw puzzle, one with thick chunky pieces and put them all in correctly :)

Can I use these as obs...i got a photo of her completing the jigsaw, bit of an action one with her putting the last one into place! She was very pleased with herself, bless her :)

Yes they are great as obs for ...

PD - using equipment and materials

PSED - being pleased with herself

PD again - self care might link in...

You could probably find other links as well but I tend to keep it simple with mine :D

Absolutely. Obs are not just planned activities they are observations of what the child is doing generally too.
