have ofsted coming today to talk to me about a request i put in for a variation, i'm not actually minding today, shall i still get her to sign in my visitors book???

i would too it shows you are thinking about what you would do if there were children on the premises.
although having said that i handed mine to the inspector yesterday and asked her to sign it
i forgot to remind her to sign out and when i checked after she'd gone she hadn't even signed in

If you are not working she will not have contact with children and that is what the book is for.
No need to sign in

When i had a visit on a day off I mentioned I had a visitor's book but would not get her to sign as I was not working and therefore not relevant! Wanted to cover both aspects just in case!!! :)
