You might remember my previous thread about my CC officer being out of the office for a while...well she was meant to be back today and guess what...no..not due back till next week (this is the 4th time I have heard this now)
anyways, the last time (2 weeks ago) I asked to speak to her manager but the guy never phoned me back. Didn't chase it up as I didn't want to be seen to herrassing them too much though, as I want to get registered...
anyhow..after the CC told me that she was not due back till next week I said I need to speak to her manager to see if there is anyone else that can do my inspection... I had my disclosures back on the 25th Feb!
So eventually manager phoned me back and said that she wasn't actually off that long (I said nearly 2 months but at least 5 weeks) and who had told me that? Said he is sorry if I got the wrong info and she is back monday and will contact me. I was so shocked that I never challenged what he said!!!!:angry:
I had several out of office replies from her and whenever I phoned the CC office I was told she was out unwell.
how can they now deny that? :eek:

Just checked the last out of office reply was from the 30th of May...and I had 2 from before but didn't keep them as only kept the last with amended return date iyswim so at least another 2-3 weeks on top of that...

It must be really frustrating for you going through this. Hopefully though they should be with you soon as the inspection year runs April to April and they had to get all last years inspections done so have been massively busy getting caught up. In our area they were very behind with inspections.

I know how you feel I had all this last year with my CSSIW inspector. I have never known so many holidays and then she had probs with her CRB and couldn't do any visits till it came back:rolleyes: and then it was holidays and sickness again:(

I had to call them today to speak to my cco and I found the lady who answered the phone really offputting, and why do you want to speak to him she said and WHO is calling, dont know if its because I work in an office and KNOW how to answer a phone but it really got me. :blush:
