Oh dear, that doesn't sound promising - sounds like the left hand has no idea what the right is doing!
I hope they improve in the 10 years I've got until DS1 reaches 16 and I have to deal with them on that score.

Ofsted strikes again when I first registered I had two children and I was single. Met my now dh moved house had him checked pregnant with third child wrote to tell them new cert came through and they had missed my eldest son off rang and they asked me if I was sure I had mentioned him (no just hide him in the cupboard - let him out special occasions). Had fourth child wrote again was inspected 6 weeks later to then find out they had no record of my husband showed the inspector the crb check and eldest son was still missing.
The inspector changed all the details but who knows who Ofsted think I have living in the house:laughing:

Well my dh CRB still hadn't come after 2years, lots of phone calls, letters and Ofsted not being pleasant on occassion. In the end they accepted a copy of one he had done through Church that was a couple of months old!!!
I have just sent one off for my daughter so we will see how long it takes!
I have still never had a CRB done by Ofsted and I have been minding for 15years now!
