Thanks guys, i'm just so glad it's done and dusted. I have been scared of my phone for the last 6 months and i can now pick it up without nearly having a heart attack.

Phew............ wasn't as bad as i'd expected either, the woman was lovely not the strick school headmistriss i'd imagined!

Well, i'll try to remember as much as possible!!

She liked all my safeguarding stuff, that was one of my outstanding areas. I went on an extra safeguarding course put on by my local council, i have a safeguarding file seperate from my portfolio (i have all my safeguarding policies in my portfolio as well) but in the folder i had all the handouts from my course, the booklet your supposed to have about what to do if you suspect abuse is happening, another copy of my policy and a list of numbers to contact ect. I also have a waterproof zip bag which i keep in my change bag (this goes everywhere with me and stays by my fire escape route for easy grabbing on the way out) in this i have a black book with a picture of me and my emergency details then a picture of the kids and thier dates of birth and their emergency contacts plus whether they have permission of emergency medical treatment and if they have any allergies. I also have a card for all the children with their emergency number on and their picture which i slip into their pockets when we are on an outing and i keep a photocopy of their outings permission form, emergency medical treatment permission form in there as well, plus a copy of my lost child policy (they asked why i kept this with me and i was honest and said i don't know my policys of by heart and if i lost a child i would need it to know exactly what i said i would do and i could also pass it on for people to help) i also have a travel first aid kit with me at all times plus all the numbers in my phone too. Paretns also have cards for their wallets to say their children may be with me (NCMA do them i think but i just made my own), plus fire log with all details of fire drills including the reaction from the children, i do a fire drill every 2-3 weeks.

When i started my registration process i started collecting articles and different resources for things like multicultral activities and seasons, senses ect and put them in files so i always had resources for my planning and ideas.

I have a 5 a day chart which i do with the children to encourage them to eat the veg and fruit and i also have the snack mats from sparkle box which i use for the smaller children, i always have that fruit in my bowl and i show them the mat so they can choose which fruit they would like, i then mark it on the chart and we would talk about it while they ate it - chart is from ELC - she really liked it!!

My portfolio was really detailed and i'd put it into the order of the 5 outcomes (Being Healthy Staying Safe Enjoying and Achieving Positive Contribution Economic Wellbeing (Organisation)) I also have a seperate complaints folder which i keep in the hall where parents can always find it, in this i have a copy of the ofsted poster, a copy of my complaints policy, copy of the ofsted complaints info from their website and a couple of (empty) complaint forms which i made.

She liked my playroom, all the toys are at child level so they can choose what they want to play with, i told her that most play is child led.

I can't think of anything else right now, there was so much but i forgot most of it straight after she left because i wasn't really listening when she was going through it, i was just staring at all my goods and outstanding haha. As soon as i get my report i will email a link.

Hope some of that helped xx
