I had a nice surprise with the post this morning.

I sent an email requesting a variation on 17th March and today (24th) exactly one week it came through in writing as approved

Well done Ofsted!

I asked for one a few years ago. I posted the letter on the Thursday, they phoned me with a query on the Monday & I got a letter giving the go ahead on the Wednesday!

See, they can be efficient if they try :laughing:

LOL I have applied for 2 now one was last year and one was just after Christmas. I have never had a reply:laughing: :laughing:
On each occaision I haven't needed the variation as a child has left just at the right moment. However its reasuuring to hear that they do answer some peoples requests :clapping:

I think the secret if to baffle them with information!!!! Seriously, if you send them the grid with the information they do make their decisions quickly.

I email my request and then follow it up with registered post and they can never say that they haven't receved it as I have a signature proof.
