I got oustanding in all areas. I can't believe, I was up 'til 1am and got up again at 4am and all the time I was thinking "must do this that and the other" I was still doing activity risk assessments when the bell rang. The Inspector was lovely all the way through, she stressed how important a well filled-in SEF is-to copy and paste into her stuff. She also praised my complaints folder and paper work in general as well as my relationship with the child I had (a real star)
So thank you Sarah as a few months ago I was worried I wouldn't even pass. Your brilliant e-books got me there, still alot of hard work but they sent me in the right direction and made sure I didn't forget important bits.
I didn't award myself outstanding (I hoped for a good) and the inspector seemed to be pleased that I had identified many areas for improvement- it wasn't a negative. I'm waiting to see if there are any recommendations for me to share.

Thank you all.
I have bought most of Sarah's e-books over a period of time. I think they were all helpful, I don't use every bit of every book as I'm far too lazy but they give you ideas and examples to follow and you can just choose what suits, sometimes for me it is the reassurance i need that I am going in the right direction.
I would say the SEF one and the daily dairy one were most useful, then the risk assessment one. I didn't use Sarah's RA forms, I used the one on the Northamptonshire Childminding Association website but I did go through all Sarah's stuff looking for risks I might have missed-loads!
I might be wrong here but it seems that the SEF is mega important to most inspectors and that with their first impressions of you will pretty much decide your grade. Fairly or not? Also I am very shy and nervous when it comes to these things and would never remember to say even a fraction I put in my SEF so although I hated every minute of filling it in it was all worth it and hopefully I can go back and tweak it every now and again without too much hassle.
I think all the e-books were worth it. I was so over whelmed by the EYFS at first and I just added bits each month to what I do and now it is becoming second nature ( some days anyway) I only started doing some of it, like a monthly continuous provision sheet and activity risk assessments, very briefly, recently. The Inspector didn't comment that I hadn't been doing it all since September so the more you can at least start the better.
I am off out tonight after a quick nap to celebrate and then I'll think about paperwork again but not too soon.
Thanks for all your best wishes and all the advice on here from everyone. I don't post very much as I am never sure of myself giving advice to others but perhaps this will spur me on to make more of an effort.
