I had my inspection last Thursday. i was so nervous but she was actually really nice and i got a good in all areas. The only recommendations that i had was to add a few more details in one of my policies and that i had forgot to date my risk assesments.
Anyway she asked me what i thought about the SEF. I said i thought the way the questions were worded were quite confusing and that i seemed to repeat myself a lot and it was way to long. She said a lot of people have said the same thing and they were looking into changing it.
She also said that at the moment the inspections were being done every 3-4 years. Mine was due last May.
I am so glad that is over. Every time the phone has rung for the last 10 months i have expected it to be ofsted.
Good luck to anyone who is due theirs.

Can I make a suggestion could there be a place on this forum where you can put all the hints/suggestions made by Ofsted at peoples inspections. It is really helpful to hear what has been said and to have them all in one place would be excellent.

Congratulations on your inspection grade - I know a few people who've been caught out because they've not put a review date on their risk assessments.
