I must be mad but I was wondering if you can ask ofsted to come & do an inspection?

My last one was in Sept 08 but at the time I was on maternity leave so wasn't minding. They gave me satisfactory as they couldn't assess the quality of care I provide, they only looked at the safety of my home & it's a very basic report.

I'm happy with my grading but at the moment I'm struggling to get mindees.
The 2 local nurserys, who both do afterschool clubs up to age 12 have a good grading with areas of outstanding so parents are going to go with the (on paper ;) ) better & cheaper alternatives.

I was hoping to ask to have another inspection to possibly improve my grading but didn't know if you can ask for one ( I daren't ring ofsted to ask them about it, they may send someone out too soon lol)

Different cirumstances, but i have rung Ofsted as I am not far off an inspection and due to move. I asked them if they would come early so I could be inspected with current children in anticipation it would make things easier when I moved.

They said YES!!!!

Think you have to have children so they can see if you are following EYFS.
