ARRRGHH been on the phone all week about my variation request and have tonight been told it wont be ready in time for Monday, its to change the hours for one of my parents who has been put on a 3 day working week, thing is she is on hols until tomorrow so is going to come back to no childcare, plus i know she has no family to help so i have a feeling i will loose him tomorrow when i ring her :(

I mean how long does it take to read something and make a decision yes or no :angry:

i always ask to speak to a manager and tell them its urgent and needs doing over the phone, everytime they have said yes over the phone and that they will send my certificate in the post.

Be strong and force them to do it over the phone, i had my variation accepted last week and am waiting for my certificate - good luck, phone them monday morning. :)

They can give you permission and then sent out the certificate when they are busy and it suits them. Ask them to note your file accordingly and stay in until you get the certificate!
