Just had Ofsted call about an inspection already :panic:
My registration was granted on the 5th December but I didn't start my insurance and make myself available to work until January.
Anyway she said because I don't have any in the early years age group that my inspection would almost certainly be deferred but someone would be in touch again shortly.
Was kind of glad as I don't see how they can assess me on EYFS if I am not yet implementing it :panic:

Though part of me would be glad to get it over with  at least I know to be on my guard now

I was registered on January 16th and started minding last week, Ofsted rang last week and said they would be inspecting within the next 2 months. They asked if I had any children and their ages. I'd rather get it done and then enjoy the Summer in peace!!

:panic:  Ofsted!!! Grrrrr!
They could at least give new minders a chance to blooming well get used to their new career without them hassling them 5 mins after they have registered! I would be really cross if it were me.
I was lucky and got inspected 7 months after registration - that is what we are supposed to understand, that ofsted come out to grade you 6 to 8 months after registering not 4 weeks!!!!!!!!

Sorry to moan about this but it makes me so cross!
