Ca I just ask a quick question did you put yourself down as outstanding on your sef or not. Im just completing mine and im unsure what to put. someone told me if you put good then they do they dont upgrade you but if you put outstanding then they degrade you. Help please

I'm a bit miffed about her comment about not using the garden daily. We talked about outdoor play and I said how the garden is always available but that they rarely want to go out when its cold, but that we do go out daily and make use of things like the school run (its a nice walk, off road,with lots of trees to climb, a stream with a bridge that we play pooh sticks at etc), but she neglected to mention that! Besides, I mostly have babies at the minute and I wont stick them outside in sub zero temperatures like it was the week she came just to please Ofsted :rolleyes:

desiderata- I marked myself as good on all catergories as I feel there is always room for improvement. The inspector said that she though I warranted outstanding as I am permanently self reflecting (she loved the detail in my SEF :thumbsup: ) and recognised that there were areas that could be improved on. I think if it hadnt been for so much info in he SEF I would have got a good. Alot of what has been written in the report has come directly from the SEF

You must be thrilled - I think the outdoor comment was because they have to pick you up on something. Did you use Sarah's e-books on completing your SEF? - I just ordered some yesterday and had a quick look last night - must set aside some quality time to look at them properly.

Well done again - that should be it now for another 47 months - sleep well!
