dh works in computers says it's alot of money for what it is , you should go for at least 10 inches(:blush: ) and recommends

have you tried loptops free (or extra bit ) with broadband, we got ours at pc world with orange nearly 18 months ago, carphone warehouse do them not sure if pc world still do the deal, currys did it at one point

Alot of money for what it is and although ubuntu is good you would prob want windows esp if using for the kids as well. PC world do refurbished laptops (may be online only though) at good prices and they are like new and you should get 6-12 months warranty
