Hi

I have had a look through the posts on variations, but just wanted to ask your opinions on my chances!

I am currently on maternity leave, and will be returning to work at beginning of April.

I have 2 children of my own - one aged 4 years and one aged 6 months. (My 4 year old will be starting full time school in Sept)

I will be getting my 3yr old mindee back - he comes Mon and Tues all day....will be at pre-school on Mon's 12.30-3.00pm

Anyway....I had a visit from some parents who would like their 15 month old to come to me full time.

So if I do this, I will be over numbers on a Monday and Tuesday (but my DD will is at pre-school Tues am)

So I will actually only physically have 4 under 5's on a Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon. We live right by school so no driving and fitting them in car problems.

I know you guys aren't psychic  but what do think the chances of a variation being granted would be.....I am hoping that as DD starts school in Sept, they might take into account that it will only be for a few months...

Thanks in advance!

Sarah

I had a similar question and gave ofsted a ring, he said it shouldnt be a problem and I just needed to write a letter and sign it and then they would pop the forms in the post. For me it was a 4hr variation and he said that was nothing compared to other ones.

good luck
