I apllied for my variation on Tuesday, sent a letter and inlcuded a time table of the children, today i have recieved an application form askingfor exactly the same info
I am so peed off, my figers are aching filling in this what i feel is a stupid form as i had to do every single day, all children and times, it was done every hour so i had to put from 8-9, 9-10,10-11 etc each childs name and age all the way until 6 oclock everyday
Why not just send this out in the first place!!!

Totally agree with you. It does seem daft when everything is already there in your letter. I was miffed off before Christmas as last time I got a variation the same happened to me, so this time I rang up to ask if they had a form I could fill in. The stupid woman on the phone said oh no you just need to send in a letter with all the details. Low and behold one week later, the form arrived and I had to fill that in too
Oh well I really haven't got anything better to do......not!

I just had a call from an ofsted inspector, she was asking about everything I had written down in the letter and abit more. After a half an hour phone call in the middle of feeding a 3 year old, 11 month old and my 17 month old son, she decided I couldn't have the variation, What a cheek!

That's a pity Charlie, do they give you a reason?
I've not heard of a form... best advise people from now onwards to ask for one rather than writing out a letter.
I have just had a quick look on the Ofsted website and can't see anything yet...

They have had the form for several years. The 4 Variations I have applied for in the last year they have sent forms twice and accepted letters twice!!!!!
Another Ofsted inconsistancy:eek:

Dont start me on variations as I have said before I was refused. Never mentioned a form to me tho and it was only a few months ago. I had sent letter with all details grided like that anyway and after waiting 8 weeks they rang to say they couldnt understand the letter!!!!!! then said no anyway. I was gutted and so was the parent that wanted it.
