Can anyone give me a bit of advice please?

I am due my first inspection but as from 2 weeks time I have only one child and then I am due to have an op in hospital so will need to take approx. a month off work. (unless the op. is cancelled)

I'm really worried that OFSTED will just turn up when I'm off and I have also been told they do not like coming down if you have just one part timer..(I'm thinking this is probably not correct!)

Do you think I should give them a call and explain that I'm prob going to be off for 4-6 weeks?

I'm worried about this and dont really know what to do?

Thankyou Emma x

You could give them a call and give them the dates that you will not be working, or wait till you get the phone call and explain then. There is no need to be worried, just relax and look after yourself.

Thankyou. I'm just worried as I have been reading on here that some people have had an hour or no notice at all before they turn up.

I'm fussing for no reason probably! x

I tell them when anything different is happening whether they want to know or not.

It does no harm and saves confusion later.

I hope the op goes well for you xx
