amazing how different parents can be, im still on my learning curve having only started minding in august. Here is an example from this week

Parents A - always pay me before payday, offered to leave work early so they could collect child from school earlier in the week cos of the snow - so i didn't need to take the other kids out in the cold, then set up my DS card and put lots of new games on it for me

Parents B - never pay me on time, give me no notice of extra hours needed and expect me to jump (well i say no way to them), have left child today in only a top and tights and no bottoms:mad: and a nappy so heavy with wee it was nearly hanging off her when she arrived:angry:

Childminding has definately opens your eyes up eh??

We see all sorts in this profession!!!!

As you said you have to take the good with the bad!!!

Send parent B a letter saying you want spare clothes and money on time, I would

I agree , you need a change of clothes for them and get tough about getting the money on time or they'll just keep pushing all the time.

Hope you are enjoying the job - parents aside ;)

It shows the different standards parents have and respect for both the children and you as their carer.
