I cant get the recipie to show up.
I tell you what though angel. This has reminded me of very early on in primary. I remeber making them and we used Icing sugar (very thick, mouldable) and some peppermint flavour. Is it the same?
Thats has really made me smile thinking about those, I remeber how clever I thought I was when we did them
Thanks

cool!
I think I will give these a go on friday.
Go with my theme at the moment 'all about food'
The children have been making different things to eat and lots of pictures of food etc. So we will do these to tie in with the 'not so healthy' foods. I think they are getting bored of chopping up salad items to add to thier sandwiches lol. So they can be a treat
Thanks again. Thinking of these really has made me smile

Yeah I know what you mean....you can still smell them for days.
Have to say I don't really like them now but used to love them as a kid. I remember my dad making them (as mum used to hate smell!) and he would toss them in the air and us kids would put sugar and lemon on them like a production line.
They do evoke good memories.....just can't stand the taste and smell of them anymore!!!
