..does the pre reg visit take. The inspector says she will be here at 2pm on friday but i need some rough idea if she will still be at mine past 5pm as I need to go to work for 6pm and I haven't booked the night off.
My neighbour who was once a childminder said her visit took 4 hours, but I think she is on about a graded inspection.

My pre registration visit did not take more than 2 hours. It was just a matter of looking round the house and asking me a few questions. The inspector was very friendly and he typed on his computer the whole time. Good luck!!

Mine was about 1hr 30mins, all very relaxed, had very nice lady.

A recent one a friend had took just under 2 hours :D

TBH I wouldn't think the inspector would want to work past 5pm anyway!

Mine took about 2 hours.

mine took 1 hour 40 mins or there abouts

She will be gone in time and if she is not then just explain that you have to go to work

They have a life too so I am sure she will be finished so do not worry
