Daft question but do you mark/highlight to say which have been met? Do you need to include the next steps on obs too?

I highlight what area of develpoment that I have meet, then I can see what area I have been missing out by flicking throw my observations sheets and focus on that one next time. I fill in next step too.

I make a note of which area of L & D the observation has met as it makes it easier when I am writing up the child's achievements later.
It really depends on what method of recording progress you are intending to use. :D

Thanks, I'm just tying to decide that! My homework for the sector specific day was to do an observation on a child and plan the next steps.
