OMG, what a fabulous idea - but how much, they are so expensive!!!!!

They look amazing. But the cost! over £300 per seat but min purchase £1000!!!! :eek: The insurance companies are going to have to up the indivdual limit (£200) on replacing car seats aren't they?

Also would your car insurance allow it. Wouldn't you technically be overloaded if you used one of these to convert a 5 seater to a 6 seater, as your insurance covers you for the maximum that the car is registered/designed to carry IYSWIM

In principle I think it's a good idea but I'd like to see one close up to see how much room the kids really had - if you're squeezing 4 kids into a space that's sometimes a squash for three wouldn't they be a little bit on the cramped side?

I would love that but have worked out the combination I would need comes to £1700, would be cheaper to change cars. Allthough we would get 6 years use out of it.

If you get an answer from an insurance company let us know. No that I would use it myself, unless there safety reports are exceptional, there is no side protection.

I discussed it with me hubby last night and there are more cons than pros

for instance when I'm out with no children and need a big boot such as stock from the garden centre I cant easily remove the seating system to lye it all down flat.

also 3 days a wk I have mainly over 8's who moan at being on booster seats so might cause bigger issues having them strapped in a 5 point but it is so much safer.

I think I may have managed to convince him to look into gaining an 8 seater but not pushing him anymore, walking isnt really an issue for me its just the younger ones they tire quickly and too old for a buggy.
