Did you tell the inspector that you are out in the mornings?

Sounds like shes expecting you to cancel all plans.
Think someone might be on a power trip!
I would make sure you are in at least till 10am, if she's not there by then go out. When she comes be yourself. Play with the children, do drawing, carry on as normal. Good luck:thumbsup:

How old are the mindees? If they are old enough you could do a quick and simple pizza making activity or do something for the Chinesse new year, like lanterns or paper dragons. Don't panic!
Just make sure all your paperwork and permission forms are all in order, that your displays are up, cert and other important bits on show and enjoy the mindees.
Good luck!

Im not sure if messy play is a good idea. I plan to sit the lady at the table because I know the children will be inquisitive and want to bug her or mess with her lap top if she was on the sofa. They they will get stroppy if I try to stop them. I was thinking more of reading or freeplay, dont relly know what activity especially lasting for hours sometimes. OOOOOH im so nervous.

i can see what u mean. how about some jigsaws or animals on the table. and then possible some buildibg bricks as my little one like the bricks building and knocking down. its hard as u have the same ish age as me. u need to keep them busy. ill be in the same boat when i have mine. But i know my 3 year old will sit and paint well.

Thats a good idea, we will start with the bricks and go onto the animals and the farm then I can read them a story and hopefully is will be snack and nap time by 10.30. They get to me at 7am so they should be tired by then. Does the lady expect me to stop playing with the children to answer her questions or carry on and try and answer them as I go.
