This is what we made with the baby and my eldest daughter. This is really easy and quite effective!! The babies are 16 months, 16 months and 18 months!

PS: Idea is from activity village and I got the paper lantern from B&Q at £1.99 each.

we've made the lanterns although they are very long and thin
but i love the lamp shade idea too
may see if i can find one next week thanks for that idea
it all looks very effective
