Do we need to complete a daily diary for children under 3 or is it children under 5? i read somewhere (cant remember where) that its for under 3's??

I complete daily diaries for children up to 3 or older if requested:)

It is good practice to do them for all children within the Eyfs.
Having said that there are no absolute rules to say what to do so it is up to you.
I do the same as Noodles :D

I do one for my 6yr old after schooler, buts really basic but mom likes to know that shes has a snack and what shes been upto.

Each of my mindees has a day book whatever age they are. I feel it's a way of proving I communicate with parents and vice versa. Whether they read them or not is a different matter!

I do one for all my under 5's
And maybe any child that won't comunicate with parents i had 11 year old who has a learning disability so i done one for him

I do them for my under 3's but if a parent wants one when they are older I would also do them one
I agree, it's good practice to use one whatever age the child is and it is evidence that you have good communication with the parents.:thumbsup:

I do daily diaries until they start school. All my parents at the mo really like them!
