I am starting minding in Feb but only for 2 half days and 1 full day in the holidays then nothing (as yet).

1. Do I have to let ofsted know that I have children even though its only temporary?

2. Will ofsted want to come and inspect me when I have him as I dont think its fair to me or him

3. If they dont inspect me then what happens, I dont have any children and dont just want to be given a grade because they cant assess me properly.

You have to tell them when you start working.

The rest is out of your hands I'm afraid although you can try reasoning with them

They did come out to my friend when she was over due and she got a temp placement but they may just hold off if your not over your 6 months (she was 8 months)
