I haven't submitted my SEF yet and Ofsted are coming next Mon or Tue! They called to tell me last week. I'm SO snowed under with paperwork. I've started it and purchased Sarah's e-book to help me finish it.....but is it a waste of time to submit it now? Too late?

I'm under the impression as soon as you get the call from Ofsted that they freeze your SEF.

oh well. What a mare. I had to apply for another token to get into it, so it was v.delayed.

Good bye to an outstanding then!!!!! I guess I can say it's almost done.

nope, not a waste of time - i got the call last tuesday... finished my SEF yesterday afternoon and the inspector had it printed out and highlighted this morning!! i don't think they do freeze it, well they didn't freeze mine anyway!

Another token? I was send some code number a while ago. Will that still work or have they changed things?

Ofsted phoned me last Monday, I submitted it the next day and she printed it off ready for when she came on Friday so dont think they do freeze it.

I too had had the call then went on about a week later to submit my SEF and ofsted came today. I would def do it.

Even if you don't manage to submit it you can always print it off and give it to the inspector.

Have you completed any of it - if so you can at least submit what you have. I had already submitted my SEF but told my inspector I had some additional info that I hadn't submitted and she said no problem just add it and re-submit.

i heard they freeze it as soon as they confirm they're coming!
i printed off a blank copy from the ofsted site (in draft copy to save ink!) - i'm gonna do it on that first. I've just completed Quality First which is totally self reflective too so a bit put off at the mo!!!
Maybe if you have a written copy to give her/him would be ok - people have done this from what i gather on other forum sites.
