I have been tidying the house all weekend and Im just not ready.
There are so many things I didnt realise I needed to have and have been rushing around trying to get it all done:idea:
I am sooooo worried Im gonna get a rubbish score

lol, you won't be 'scored' Sarah. It helps if the place is fairly tidy but not TOO tidy. I'm sure Mrs Ofsted will take into consideration the fact that it's your first inspection. Just be yourself and if you make her a hot drink, leave it in the kitchen and tell her to go and drink it in there!!! ;) Let her know that you do know you have to get things and it's all in hand.

I know where you're coming from. I had my inspection last week, I didn't know if I wanted to throw up or burst out crying, but I was kicking myself after, because it went really well and the lady was lovely.
I know its easy to say but try and relax and good luck, but I'm sure you will be fine

I was in the same position last week, had my 1st inspection. but really didn't need to panic, I have really changed my opinion of the inspectors, as the one I had was actually (wait for it........ HUMAN!!) I know i can't believe it myself.
she was so nice and friendly and it all went really well as I;m sure yours will too.

thanks everyone I am really hoping the Inspector is ok.
Its been put back til the 26th jan as the mindee I have in the day is off for the rest of the week.
I know need to learn all about the EYFS fast and dont know where to start:eek:

Its great that you want to learn so much Sarah but dont worry if you can not learn it all
You have not even been minding for a year yet and some of us here have been minding for years and only just taking it in

i was panicing because i only had 6 days notice and was getting stressed
