O.M.G.! I.ve just had a pack from OFSTED to apply for CRB for my just 16yr old. It includes one 10 page guidance and a 23 page Declaration and consent form.
Help! I didnt expect to have to spend so much time all we do at Scouts is fill in the Enhanced Diclosure Application form and submit it why do OFSTED need an add 23 page form??? This is mad.
Guess I know what I'm doing this pm while the babies are asleep.:( :(

Yes I know it's ridiculous isn't it?
I did one recently for my boyfriend's son who was just turning 16 and my dd is nearly there so another for her soon.
I got the first 2 boxes muddled up first time round though ... you have to put them down as working for you, I can't remember how it's worded but read it really carefully and give Ofsted a ring if you're not sure.
Good luck! :D
How long did it take before you got yours back. I sent my twin sons forms off at the end of October and have heard nothing yet

Thanks for the advice I'll read really carefully. I'll let you know how I get on.
As for a reply well it took OFSTED 2ys to admit they had lost my hubbys form trying to blame it on me all the time and in the end they accepted a copy of a recent CRB done by our church! I'M not expecting a fast reply with regard to this one either. Why OSTED is so bad I dont know it takes the Scouts about 4 weeks to get a response to an enhanced check.

It took them 3 months to do the 16 year old... then they said it was lost and I needed to fill it in again... then I got 2!
