Can't believe I got the call from Ofsted today. I've only been minding about 8weeks. I haven't got all my paperwork sorted yet, havent started planning or observations. LO are 17months and 33months. I haven't even rang to get PIN or whatever it is for SEF yet. Thought I still had plenty of time. Don't know where to start. I feel a few sleepless nights coming on!! I even lied to her and said didn't have LOs this week as only got them a couple of hours next 3 days as parents between them have time off. Bought a bit of time or it could have been tomorrow. Now I've got myself in a mess with my lie in case she checks attendence. OMG why did I want to do this? I give up exams and things years ago:panic: :panic: :panic: :panic:

Calm down or you'll be frazzled long before she gets to you.

You can download a copy of the SEF from Ofsted website - just make a start on it if you want to - remember it isn't mandatory but Ofsted are definitely wanting us to use it.

Oh love take deep breaths you have a couple of days and evenings to catch up with paperwork take each step at a time perhaps make a list of what you have to do and it might not seem that bad

Be calm, try Bromley Childminding Associations web site. They have some good forms, policies etc.
