I offered a cup of tea or coffee, but my inspector politely refused. It's always worth asking though, it's polite. That's my opinion anyway. :)

Oh p.s, remember, if your inspector has a hot drink to leave it in the kitchen and ask her to drink it in there, don't carry it though to where she is sitting. My inspector was very "hot" on that!

On the hot drink front, you could always offer a lidded cup like a travel mug!! you can buy them in Asda for a couple of pounds. Just remember to add a little cold water to the drink as they stay really hot in those cups as usually thermal!! Don't want to scald the lovely inspectors lips before they give us our grade do we????!!!!! (Joking obviously!!!!)

hello... i offered my inspectors.. (yes i had two of them) a drink, told them they must sit at the table with it, in a lidded cup, and not to leave a hot drink un attended, i also asked then to leave there bags in the hallway with everyone elses as i had not risk assessed for them, they were happy with this. when they came in and shut the front door they asked if they should lock it and remove the key, i told them th leave the key i would remove it as i wanted to know for sure its location in the event of a emergency!! maybe i was just having a bad day....!!!!

No. I didn't have one myself whilst the inspector was there and didn't offer her one either.

Did make sure the children had one though :)
