I've been registered since August and did have one little boy one day a week but that's now ended and to be honest he didn't even come that often him mum took him to work lots of weeks. So now I have no children and trying to get business. I looked at the SEF on line the other day and can't see how I can complete it without having children to look after. It looks like a nightmare document to complete too????

It's a bit difficult I should think, hun. But could you write down what you would be doing and what you have in place ready for new children to start.

If you have been minding already you probably have policies and risk assessments, fire drills, permission forms, etc in place. You could write you SEF based on what you have already and what you would like to improve on.

Good luck filling your vacancies a lot of new mums think of going back to work in the New Year (I know I did) so you may have lots of enquiries after xmas xxx

You need to read your standards and all the Eyfs literature and decide what you will do when you are working.

The Sef is about self reflection so think about how you will work and what you want to learn next for your improvements bits.

Hth :D
