..... but we had THE call a couple of weeks ago and our inspection was last week! (I did tell Angel as I needed someone to steady my nerves :laughing:) I was convinced I would do something stupid and mess it up, hubby said it would be him!! :panic:

Anyway, it was a good job I didn't tell as I had to keep it a secret until it was officially published, which was today, so now I can tell the you all, and the world..........

we got OUTSTANDING!!

we are so very pleased. :)

The inspector was lovely, she said it had been a pleasure to inspect us and that we were an "exceptional couple", as you can imagine that made our day/week/month!!!! :)

One small point there dear, outstandings only came in AFTER my last inspection :D

Thanks everyone - you all obviously had more faith in me than I did!!

Still on cloud nine, we went out on the night of the inspection both to celebrate and save cooking after what seemed a very long day!! :) (She was here for just under 5 hours)

All the parents said that they were not surprised which was great to hear, one bought us a big bottle of wine to celebrate with.

only ask as david is my registered assistant but he's working away from home now so i am interested to know whether he'd have to be here when i am next inspected

Graham is my assistant, she didn't say he had to be here (although he did as we had 4 children that day!)

I suppose if you are working alone when the inspection takes place then you will be inspected as if working alone and any assistant won't be taken into consideration. But of course that's only my view.
