What publications do you get and or find useful in relation to our work.
I find Nursery World has bits and bobs but obviously they are more focused on Nurseries. I try to get EYEducator and those type of mags too as they often have some great bits in. It would be nice if there was a more Childminder / Home Setting publication.
The surestart mag is ok too.

I subscribe to Child Care magazine and Creative steps. I find them both really useful. On occasions I will also buy EYE/ nursery World and the scholastic ones

If you by creative steps through http://www.craftsuperstore.co.uk/Crafts/Craft-Magazines/sc1149/p3598.aspx you get 15% discount...it only works out to one pound something off but every little helps.

I get Child Care, Creative Steps and of course, Who Minds. I really like Child Care, especially their pull out sheets on EYFS. I'm not so keen on Creative Steps but that could be because I'm not a crafty person. I mean, I have craft items on offer and we do them on a regular basis but I'm not loving it so much I need a whole magazine devoted to it. I do like the way the crafts are linked to ELGs, though.

Right!! Where am I going wrong  ever since I first read this thread I made a point of looking for these magazines but can't locate them anywhere - not even in the big WHSmith in Liverpool City Centre
Go on, go on, go on ....... give us a clue and tell me where to get any of them from
Thought I'd try a few then maybe treat myself to a subscription for the one I liked best.

Creative Steps - you can only get this one on subscription.
Professional Child Care - Difficult to find...a lot of shops don't stock it. I only ever find it in big WH Smiths but even then not always.......you could always ask your local newsagent to get it in for you each month.
Nursery World - you should be able to get that in most WH Smith
