I know this is probably like asking how long is a piece of string...but i started minding in september (in the cheshire area) and was wondering if there is any timescale that OFSTED stick to to do a first visit... Slightly worried. Thanks x

i think its 6 months for everyone hun but unsure if thats right for everyone

ofsted have to contact u within 2 weeks of recieving your forms to arrange a visit. I started my course June Finished August. Sent forms of last week in august and had a call from ofsted for visit they came first week in sept. My crb took 12 weeks and i have myu certificate Nov. Had an instance cover note from NCMA as had a child starting and still awaiting certificate (went through my loal council fo funding)

We was told 7 months and ofsted came to me in my 7th month. But I do knowthey can come earlier than that. If you reg in September I think you will be ok for another few months yet. But who knows!?:)

Thanks. I had heard it was 6/7 months but didn't know if that was just a guess! hopefully i have a few more months then xx

My pre inspector said I would be visited in 261 days .

I had my first 'opening' visit a few days ago, and I was told I would have my first marked inspection 3 months after I start minding.

I been reg since oct and i got a call this afternoon they coming next wednesday :panic: :panic: :eek: can i get anymore faces on here arghhh. Sure it will be nothing to worry about tho :(

Had my 1st inspection 3 months after I was registered, my pre-reg inspector told me it would be 6-7 months.
