Ok - a childminder friend of mine who had her inspection the other week rang me this morning and said she has received a questionnaire in the post to complete. I don't know whether this is to do with the fact that she has been inspected recently or it something we will all be recieving in the near future or its been sent out to a random selection of minders but one of the questions something along the lines of

[I]How have you used reports by Ofsted such as "Safe and Sound", "Getting on Well" and "Leading to excellence" to better your childminding practice?[/I

Well M (my friend) has never received these docs in the post nor has she ever heard of them so and neither have I - so I was just wondering if anyone else has been given them or heard of them and if so if you know where I would get my hands on a copy. I can down load them on my computer but M is nearly 60 and hasn't got a computer so I was wondering if there is somewhere she could either call and ask for a copy or if I could request a hard copy on line for her - or even several for the minders who meet at my Tuesday group M called 2 others before she called me and neither of them knew anything about these reports and one used to be the local support minder and the other is the only minder in the town who has been awarded an outstanding.

If anyone can throw any light on this I would be more than grateful.

If I remember rightly it was sent out about 4 or 5 years ago with a poster... but I'm getting on a bit so I might be wrong...

I was inspected about 3 weeks ago and have just recived a questionnaire to day in the post not had time to look at it yet though

Hi I received that form yesterday was inspected recently. I too did not have them documents so I just wrote on the form that I had never received them and posted off form.
