I love that I can shut the door on it at night and sit in a toy free lounge  The kids have really taken to it as well and rarely overspill into the living room (which DH is chuffed about too as he can watch telly in peace  )

It's fabulous! Really great. I used to use a dining room when I lived in my other house and it was great to close the door on it at night but I don't have one here, just the lounge. I get sick of staring at toys all the time.

2 guineas, Pip and Squeak :) DH was all for putting them in the shed over winter but I took pity on them. The kids love them and they love the company and get all excited when we play in there :D
It looks fantastic :clapping: :clapping:

Oh, I can dream!! If only.
Think we would all like a playroom to close at the end of the day especially those with older kids who don't even need the toys for their own kids anymore. :)

a question for those who have got rid of dining rooms in favour of a playroom (as i have ) where do you now eat?
its not a problem with my family as my boys sit on a little table and chairs set and OH and i eat off our laps:blush: but what will i do when i get mindees? do you have another table in your kitchen maybe or another solution? thanks x

The dreaded SBS! It wasn't cheap but I love it :D
I just use velcro on the board monkey. Never had a problem with it.
Minstrel, my kids tend to eat with the mindees and I sit them at the small playroom table. We have moved the dining table into the lounge ( luckily its a pretty big room) and if we eat as a family we sit in there.
