Ok, so the inspector arrived at 9.30am , she made me feel really relaxed. I did a lot of reading, painting and sticking with the children and the 3 hours went quite quickly!..but the house is trashed!
She liked my newsletters, risk assessments, planning and obs, ask a few questions on equal op, inclusion, abuse etc.

And I got an Outstanding!!!:clapping:
I started crying when she told me and so did she and my daughter (2) kissed her on the way out.

The only recommendation she made was to update my complaints form in line with the EYFS.

Yes girls, inspectors are human, mine cried too!! she said it was the first Outstanding she had ever given and that she was over the moon to be able to give it to us.

Thanks guys, she was really nice ...

Bella kept calling her 'the lady' and then when the kiddies were painting, Bella said 'nice lady' so the inspector giggled quite a bit...

She asked me a bit about the EYFS and how I use the cards...aslo asked about the early learning goals.

She said it was the first outstanding she had given under the EYFS (not that great an achievement I suppose since it has been only 3 months:laughing: :laughing: )
