Just wanted to see if anyone from the South Norfolk area has had an inspection since EYFS. If you have would like to hear about the experience. I have been waiting on mine since beginning of September. Had a call at the end of Sept to say they would be coming, but up til now have not heard anything else. Maybe they think they have already been:idea: :D

Im trying to jam every course available in at the mo, but just come home and panic as i realise there is something else that needs to be done.

Just been reading the thread on the afterschoolers. Mine always come home and have freetime (child led play) and then tea before going home.

Sorry not in your area. Have you tried to find any reports covering your area on the ofsted website reading through them may help and also have a good look at the recommendations. When you do get the phone call make sure you take a note of the inspectors name and then have a good look at all the reports with that inspector's name on.

I am in South Norfolk (Loddon) also, I have not heard of anyone being inspected since EYFS in our area. Have heard of a couple of inspections since EYFS from minders I've met on courses in Norwich. One went well, one not so well (she did seem to have set herself a hard target with the childrens activity during inspection and things didn't go the shirley hughes all things perfect route). Be yourself and relax, you will be fine you know the children and surroundings the inspector won't.

If the children you look after are happy and their parents then you'll be fine, most work comes word of mouth just think of it as ofsted ticking boxes.

This is what I was doing, good look around inspections in the area. I could only find one report though for my inspector -she mainly does the pre-schools ect which made me :panic: !! lol
