Hi Everyone

Just had ofsted call to ask if i've started minding any children, i said i had one boy who was one for two days a week. He said an inspector would call soon and arrange a visit, does anyone know roughly how long the inspector might take to call, in your experience was it a week after or a month??

I'm so nervous, i haven't got my head round the whole EYFS thing yet and i'm still working on getting all my paperwork sorted. It's turned out to be a lot harder then what i expected especially as i have an 8 month old daughter who won't let me out of her sight! She is fine with the boy i look after because they are able to sit and play but the days he isn't here and i try to work on my paperwork she screams until i sit and play with her!

There was a couple of months between me receiving the call confirming I was infact minding and when I got the call from the inspector telling me she was going to call soon and asking which days I would be in.

A couple of months sounds good, i'm not to far off having things ready but i just need thoughs few finishing touches. I know i won't get anything like outstanding as i don't have the money at the moment to get all the equipment i would need but paperwork wise i hope i get a good as i've put alot of work into that, it's even harder as i don't understand it too well but i think i'm starting to get exactly what they want!!
