I was going to make toffee apples with the los today but had an idea last night to maybe dip them in chocolate and sprinkles rather than toffee (a little beter for teeth) anyway just realised havnt got any chocolate other than mars bars. Do you think it would work melting those and if it does how do you let them set. Im thinking if i dip and sprinkle then stand them upside down on greaseproof paper it might just all drip back down and off the apples???
Any advice please???? :)

my children have tried to make toffee apples at their nana's house tonight, but apparantly it was a bit of a disaster. the toffee wouldn't stick to the apple!!
