also when i pay this fee does it mean ofsted will visit to inspect me as they know i am staying on for another year lol lol?:panic: :panic:

Hi
Just paid mine - just relieved it wasn't the £100 they first intended charging, think it was about £15 last year

It is not bad as it was originally gonna be -we were all worried quite a few months back that we were going to have to pay them £100 a year.:panic:
Glad we don't have to do that. xx

Yes, I definitely paid £15 last December.
I agree, £25 no way near as scarey as £100 or so!!
I don't think paying the registration fee will result in an immediate inspection......unless you're due of course!!

Yes it used to be £15, mine always comes just after Christmas so better set aside £25 :(

Does anyone know how much it costs now for your first registration, it used to be more than the renewal.

Just found the official stuff on the Ofsted website:

Registration Fees (http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/Ofsted-home/Forms-and-guidance/Care-and-local-services/Childcare/Registration/Fees)

Still doesn't make it clear whether you have to pay both fees if you are on both registers

I paid £15 in June, July time even though it's not the £100 we all thought it might be £10 is a big jump really, I think it is anyway x
