how many of you have a display where kids can "log" themselves in and out?

i've just had loads of fun making my own :thumbsup: and my son almost superglued his finger and thumb together :laughing: :blush:

Yes I have one. I got the idea from Sparklebox, and now have the kids names on balloons and a cloud poster. The kids love finding their names and putting them up into the sky.

That's a very good idea! Our preschool do this - the kids love it x

I have the sparklebox ones as well, each child has a different picture with their photograph on it eg spinder, rocket, flower, butterfly etc. kids look in the box for their picture as soon as they come in.

I am taking photos of the children to do this now.

I saw it at a friend's house and it looked great! :D

mine has photos on it.. well used my kids photos to show how it will work

also have a feelings chart :thumbsup:

They do it at one of the local playgroups.

I love these. We did it at the Family Centre went well for a year until 2 little darlings kept eating whatever we used to fix them to the wall - blue tack, velcro, sellotape etc etc (parental supervision - not:panic: )

I have half a one!! :laughing:

My young mindee picked them off & lost a couple, and then a 'problem' mindee decided to pick the laminate names off the magnetic stripes one by one!

I have the names printed & laminated off, but need to find my roll of magnetic tape or buy some more...

I know ofsted like it!

Our local nursery do it - I had thought of it, just don't know quite where i would put it so lo's can reach (hall is small and they come into playroom through kitchen) Had thought of putting it on side of kitchen cupboard, but not sure where to keep names!!!

I wanted my self registration to be small enough to grab in the event of an emergency, it's simple but fingers crossed it'll work :thumbsup:
