i know ofsted do a pre-inspection, but when do they do a follow up to make sure you've carried out their recommendations??

Hi think this is roughly 6mths which is when they come and inspect you:eek: they will also make sure you have carried out anything they asked you to do then hth x

so during that 6 months i can be childminding or do i have to wait???

Yes you can childmind. After pre reg and all the other forms and checks etc have been completed you will get your registration certificate and you can then start minding. You get checked approx 6 months after you have received your certificate.
