I was just wondering how long it takes Ofsted to inspect a new home if I was to move house. We are looking into buying a house (prob wont happen) but as my income is the main income, we cant afford for me not to be able to work for a long period of time

when i moved in january this yr, i had to do a risk ass on my new property. when they had recieved this they looked at it and sent my new certificate out. all in all i think it was roughly about 2 wks

I moved and they were here within 2 days and that was too early
I cannot see why you cannot tell them you are moving in advance and still mind. It is their responsibility to get to you and inspect.

I'm planning to move early next year and won't be able to afford to take a single day off work.
I'll send them the risk assesment in advance and push push push like you have to with OFSTED!
