Ho hum now how do I connect this into my planning. No children celebrate Diwali in their home probably none of them would understand it.
It is Aunty Phyllis' (my mum) birthday and we are celebrating with a birthday party (being a bad childminder - sandwiches, crisps, cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, jelly and ice cream and homemade chcolate cake)
Sorry Ofsted but the children love my mum and are so looking forward to her birthday (possiibly the act of birthday cake lol)
