I still can't remember how to start a new thread or post?! Hope this is ok?
Anyway, I had my inspection this morning and got good in everything so I'm happy. She was really friendly, didn't ask half the questions I expected her to and she said she could see what a great relationship I had with the children. They were as good as gold and it was great, specially when she said see you in 3 years!!!! :D She said I can see you don't do this job for the money. I thought who does!!!! I'm only working part time and get £99 a week! :)
congratulations:clapping:
well done, you can start to relax now
i agree we love having the children but the money does come in handy:laughing:

Thanks Cathy, It does come in handy but then when I was on job seekers allowance, I didn't have to pay at the dentist and opticians and I do now LOL. You can't win. I did my time in the late 80's and 90's when I was earning decent money cos I had about 4 children but I can't do that now, I'm shattered after 5.5 hours a day 3 days a week lol. I was charging £3 an hour then, that's 6 years ago and that's what I charge now.
I am so glad it's over even though I wasn't stressing today, I got sick of stressing a while ago and thought oh what the hell, what will be will be.:D

Well done Sue that's great!
Until June I was working for about £45 per week! Ha ha! Last year I think I made £25 from Sept to end of March with all the stuff I had to buy - this year I've got a full-timer thank goodness!

Aw, thank you everyone. Mary, she didn't comment that much at all, she said I see from your sef that the children come quite a few miles each day to you and one or two more things I'd written and I grimaced when she said about the sef and said what a mess I'd made of it and that I had actually done a better one which I had printed off and showed her but I don't know if she read it as the children were round her all the time and I was trying to occupy them. It was a breeze really, she was so nice and friendly and just said that the kids are obviously veery happy here with me and I obviously think a lot of them and don't do the job for the money.
I don't think I could cope with a full timer now. I suppose I'd get used to it but I've done all that since 1987 and I'm only 4 years off retirement!!!! :clapping:

Thanks. Can't say I blame you either LOL I think it's a young woman's job! I did it for 15 or 16 years in my 30's and 40's and I was fine but it shatters me now. to be polite! :D
Thanks too Emler. It helps when the kids are so lovely and the parents too!!
