hia, can any one tell me what Ofsted need for me to become a night reg minder. i asked my teacher and she just said ask when they come around :panic: i want to be ready for them not have more than 1 vist to close together. please help

If you want to be registered for over night care they will want a risk assessment for it (sorry for swearing folks) and a policy for it. I think they need a separate room from your children. you need to show how you will respect their privacy depending on ages and also how you will safeguard them from others in your family eg if they are say 5 and your hubby sleeps au natralle normally how will you protect them from this and yes i was asked this as i wanted overbight care for 2 girls aged 8 and 10

It has been pointed out by our Network co ordinator that in the EYFS there are no specific "rules" anymore (remember the annex bit in our standards).
You don't even have to have a separate bedroom either just a proper bed and use your common sense - ie not putting a 4yr old girl in with a 12 year old boy.
I am sure its a loophole that Offy will close eventually
