The names and addresses of home-based registered childminders in England will not be published on Ofsted’s website.

Great news!

But Ofsted has not decided how much information to publish about complaints and enforcement action against childcare providers, even though it has agreed in principle to publish more information about providers’ compliance with the requirements of registration, including any enforcement action it takes to bring about compliance. The watchdog said it needs to consider further the implications of doing so, and to balance the interests of providers against the wishes of parents for as much information as possible about childcare providers.

So waiting and seeing on this one then.

It's interesting though that in the new-style reports is seems to be saying that only complaints which have required action by Ofsted or the provider will be put in the report. That's good news!
